No US or coalition
forces would have been engaged or endangered. |
|
However the US military
failed to engage, fight, and kill the Taliban fighters. They were
left alive to disperse, and potentially kill, beat, and torture
Afghanis, Americans and coalition forces. Perhaps some of these
fighters will live to join the fanatical Islamic movement which has
already announced repeatedly its plans to conquer and rule all land
from Spain to Indonesia. |

The unmanned airplane,
circling undetected high overhead, fed a continuous satellite feed
of the deserving target to officers on the
ground. |
|
US rules of engagement bar attacks in
cemeteries. That rule of engagement
is part of an agreement between the US State
Department and Afghanistan's government. This diplomatic agreement
prevents the US from
making missile or bomb strikes in
cemeteries. |

This is what the Predator saw
from above and transmitted in streaming video to US
intelligence. Pictured are about 190 Taliban fighters
standing in formation in front of an SUV, armed & ready to
kill, possibly getting special instructions. They were
allowed to live to kill American & coalition personnel. |
 |
|
|
US
Army officers could do
nothing other than watch the
Predator's live feed as the Taliban
broke up into groups,
each too small to effectively target with the drone.
They headed back to their mountainside hideouts
to rest and plan further attacks against Afghani, American and
coalition forces. How many American and coalition forces will they
someday kill and maim? |
|
How
many American and coalition forces have those specific Taliban
fighters already killed and maimed? |
|
US State Department officials who
make deals such as this should be questioned about their overall
objectives, their respect for the US and coalition military fighting
in Afghanistan, and how their deals and rules of engagement are
consistent with winning in Afghanistan and World War III. |
|
Then these State Department
employees -- who are free to lunch daily in Washington -- should be
fired and relieved of all responsibilities. Then they can write
their books which feed those Americans who prefer losing over
winning. |
|
Those who fail to understand that
not killing Taliban fighters in Afghanistan means we are simply
waiting for the them to come to America. Someday the restaurants in
Washington may be less cozy, pristine and safe for State Department
workers. |
