During a hearing to
discuss extending the Patriot Act, the chairman gaveled it closed and walked off with the
gavel. Democrats were left shouting into dead microphones of a raucous House Judiciary
Committee hearing. There are two sides -- each accusing the other of irresponsible and
undemocratic behavior. |
| America is plagued
with media people who can only report news of child murders and Michael Jackson,
congressmen driven by self-centered, short-term purpose, and entertainers who have no
creativity and cannot entertain without violence, filth and special effects. |
| It is everywhere --
in the streets, grocery stores, sporting events, and schools. The lack of civility and
solid disrespect for any and all institutions. Low class behavior
predominates with a rude, violent, unpatriotic, disrespect for the
United States, all
that she stands for, and all that has been built over 250 years. |
| There is no excuse --
but there is an explanation. Over recent decades the public education system and private
universities have been perverted and brought down to the lowest common denominator in an
attempt to serve inadequate students who were admitted for the wrong reasons. Decades of
dumbing down are now demonstrated each time we drive, shop, attend a public event, and
observe students crossing campuses of what were once great institutions of learning. And
it is not only displayed by the way they dress. Their appearance is a product of the same
decay. These victims have no respect for themselves nor the institutions they attend today
nor the companies they will work at tomorrow. They have no view of where they are going.
They have no concern for what they are doing to their futures. |
| What will
the
undereducated, disrespectful America-haters do when they
accomplish their goal and America is
destroyed? Who or what will take care of them then? |
