How
many days do you go to work in order to make enough to retire? Many
years worth of days. Put that in minutes and it works out to giga-gazzillions
of minutes... and how about all those seconds? What is taking you so
long? |
|
How many bullets, bombs, prisoners
must be handled? How much money, time, dead and wounded will it take to win the war
Against Terrorism? How many military men and women must sacrifice, die
and be maimed to keep the US
homeland safe? How many US military men and women must sacrifice, die and be maimed
to keep France, Canada, and the civilized world safe? How many US
military men and women must sacrifice, die and be maimed to allow
tens-of-millions of Canadians, Europeans, Asians, middle-easterners, and others to relax, pay
little or no expense, and whine about how nasty the US is treating those
sweet terrorist prisoners? |
|
Has any Canadian, Frenchman, or other
safely ensconced weenies contemplated or paused to consider how he might
obtain knowledge of future attacks from his enemy? Might it be wiser to
simply detain enemy combatants and wait for their compatriots to spring
the next attack? |

The
US-based group Human Rights Watch said
in a report on rights conditions in 70
countries that abuses by the United States in its war against terrorism
had damaged American credibility and had prompted other countries to
use similar tactics. |
|
Imagine
a world wherein every nation and individual followed the centuries-long
human rights record of the United States. Were that the case, war would
be played with more gentility than is ice hockey. |
|
The
US is waging the vast portion of the fight against
terrorists. Therefore, US forces will logically encounter the vast
majority of terrorists. Therefore, US forces will be
the ones to interrogate most terrorists. Therefore, relative to other
nations, US forces will interrogate the largest absolute number of
terrorists. However, relative to the destruction and death the
US is preventing, relatively few civil rights infractions are being
committed against those terrorists who have sworn to destroy the US and
all civilized people. |
|
The
US is waging the global War Against Terrorism in order to keep these
Human Rights Watch report writers and others
safe. It is only thanks to the US military that these report writers
have sharp pencils, clean paper, safe desks, power to operate their
computers, and time to write their 500-plus page reports attacking the
US... and to also get paid for it. |
|
If not for the US having waged the
global War Against Terrorism passively over the last 35 years and
actively since 9/11/2001, these non-contemplative report writers may
have already been blown up by Taliban-like fanatics. |
|
Reports such as the one
Human Rights Watch
published
misconstrue data, misrepresent the proportional, and misstate
the relatively few incidents. These reports provide invalid proof for
the likes of Russia, China, North Korea, several African nations and
middle-eastern regimes to continue their sadistic, despotic, murderous
ways. Those cruel regimes point to false conclusions in reports like
this as relative justification for their own methods. |
|
They
hold up the US as the gold standard of decency in war and in peace. Everyone should be so
wise. Understanding history would help. |
